Hello! Welcome to “It’s Been Real!” I created this blog partially to vent and proclaim wonderful news to the world. But also, I need another creative outlet. Writing is my passion, and I am quite proud to say that I’ve been writing since I was twelve-years-old, and have self-published a couple of books.
That is the link to my first book that is currently on Amazon. It’s a medieval-fantasy, that is a slight nod to the great works of J.R.R. Tolkien. Like most young people my age, I’ve read “The Hunger Games”, and “The Divergent” series. I enjoyed them! Don’t get me wrong; but I felt there was a need for a heroine who isn’t so conflicted and confused. She’s got the beauty, the brains, a funny sidekick, and a loyal group of friends. Hopefully, that might spark some interest…?
It’s Been Real! will not just be about my writing. I plan to also use this as a means to point out certain aspects of mankind and critique them (including my own faults, i.e. bluntness). So, I hope that you will grant me the time of day and read my blog posts. Thank you, whoever you are!
